1. What the Venue plan is
The Venue plan lets a bar, restaurant or similar business run SquareGames boards for the people on its premises: boards on its screens, patrons joining by QR code, venue branding, templates, a listing in "boards near me", and promotions of the venue's own events on its own boards.
2. Boards are free to play
Every board you run must be free to join and free to play. You must not charge for squares, sell squares, require a purchase, a minimum spend or a drink to get a square, or collect money from players in any form connected with a board.
3. No stakes, pools or prizes on SquareGames
You must not use SquareGames — boards, board titles, screens, promotions or links — to offer, promote or refer to any cash-entry contest, pool, calcutta, raffle, sweepstakes, wager, bet, stake, prize, reward or giveaway. SquareGames does not store or promote prizes, and what happens on your premises is your own responsibility and must comply with the law where you operate.
4. Promotions
Promotions describe your venue's own events. We may review, refuse, edit or remove any promotion at any time, and we review your first promotion before it appears. Anyone can report a promotion; reported promotions may be taken down pending review.
5. Patrons and screens
Patron names are shown on your screens shortened to a first name and last initial. You are responsible for the screens you pair and must revoke any you no longer control.
6. Billing
The Venue plan is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. Boards cannot be created while the plan is inactive.
7. Enforcement
If you breach these terms we may remove content, suspend boards or promotions, or suspend or close the venue account, without refund for the current period.
