1. SquareGames is for adults only
You must be at least 18 to use SquareGames. Sign-up asks for your date of birth and refuses anyone under 18, and accounts created with Google or Apple confirm their age before they can use the service. See our Terms of Service.
2. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
We do not allow child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, anywhere on SquareGames — in boards, chats, direct messages, names, photos, logos, teams or venues. This includes any content that sexualises a minor, grooming or attempts to contact a minor for sexual purposes, and sharing or requesting child sexual abuse material.
This sits within our wider zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users, set out in section 4A of our Terms and in our Community rules.
3. How to report
3.1 In the app or on the website
- Open the "…" menu on the user, game, team or venue — or long-press (in the app) or hover over (on the website) a chat message.
- Choose Report.
- Choose the reason "Involves a minor or child sexual exploitation".
Reports with this reason are our highest priority. Every active moderator is alerted at once, and the report is reviewed within 1 hour of a moderator being alerted. While it is reviewed, the reported account is limited so it cannot send messages or post anything new.
If you think a user is under 18, report their profile with the reason "This user appears to be under 18". We put that account through age verification; SquareGames does not allow accounts for anyone under 18.
3.2 By email
Email support@squaregames.app with a description of what you saw and where (a username, board name or link). Please do not attach or forward any image or video of a child; describe it instead.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org.
4. What we do
- Remove the content as soon as it is confirmed.
- Ban the account responsible, permanently, on the first violation.
- Preserve the evidence under a legal hold, so it is kept for as long as the law requires and is not deleted with the account.
- Report to NCMEC's CyberTipline as required by United States law (18 U.S.C. §2258A).
- Cooperate with law enforcement on any lawful request relating to child safety.
Chat and direct messages on SquareGames are encrypted and we do not monitor them, so we read a message only when someone in the conversation reports it. That is why your report matters. See our Privacy Policy for how reported messages are handled.
5. Child safety contact
Child safety contact: SquareGames Trust & Safety

This contact is responsible for our child safety standards and practices, and for reports to NCMEC and requests from law enforcement.
